What happens now? Our dossier is almost finished, we are waiting for one letter from our CPA and a letter from USCIS and our dossier will be complete! We will sign and notarize everything at one time, and send it off to Austin to be apostilled. Hopefully that will happen by next week. Afterwards, our agency will translate everything and send it off. From there, we wait for an invitation to travel. We have no idea on a time frame for this. We are thinking we may travel within a month of our dossier going overseas. We very well could be holding our boy again in 6-8 weeks!!!!
There are still many questions about when our court date will take place. Will we know before travel? Will we get there and file for a court date? Will we have to come back home and then go back for court? I don't think anyone knows the answers to those things yet. There are a few families ahead of us in the process, so watching them will hopefully give us more indication of how things are going to work.
I will certainly be updating the blog as we complete each step and marking them off on the list on the right side of the blog.
