We picked up all of the kids yesterday. They were all very excited to see us. It worked out well that we picked them up one at a time from various places, so each child got some good one on one time to say hello and get settled in to Mom and Dad before the next child was ready to be picked up.
Ezra has been very clingy, but not much more than what I normally see from him. So, it seems the time we were away didn't throw him too much over the edge attachment wise. He was exhausted at bedtime last night, and I was so happy that he happily went to bed and stayed asleep and in his own bed all night. We were expecting bedtime issues and a little 3 year old in our bed all night for the next several weeks.
I took Judah and Bethany to school this morning and it was such a relief to see Judah hop out of the van and happily run into the school building. He has some transition issues and I was, again, expecting to have to carry him into the building. But he did great! I am so thankful that the kids have done well with this trip and us coming home.
Here are a few pictures. I know, such a tease. This was our last day with him before we came back home. You can also see how badly he needs help with his hip as you look at the pictures. We are now researching pediatric orthopedists so that we can get him the help he needs as soon as he is home.
