We had our interview today. It was very interesting. I never really felt any fear or nervousness. It was very informal and relaxed. The judge asked some general questions about our family and talked a lot about the sad stories of families who adopt children and beat them and abuse them. He made us promise many times that we would take good care of our children and not beat them or sell their organs.
He granted us a court hearing on Friday at 10 am (11 pm CST). Please continue to pray for a successful court hearing for us and for the other families here.
Asa is doing well. He is loving the attention and loves to get hugs and kisses. I cannot stand to think of leaving him again. Oh it is heartbreaking. Please pray that his little heart is protected and that he can understand somehow that Mama and Dada are coming back for him.
