I am leaving in five days...

I am leaving in five days.  Why you ask?  Because...

We got our court date!!!!

Our agency told us we would have two weeks notice before traveling for court.  Well, not.  They called this morning and our court hearing is next week!  I will leave on Saturday the 16th, arrive on the 18th, court interview is on the 19th, and court hearing is on the 22nd.  On the 23rd I will return home!

About 30 days later we will both leave to go bring him HOME!!!!

We knew that once we had a court date we would have the rest of the schedule somewhat laid out.  Had no idea that we would only have a week's notice on the court date and then be looking at only five weeks until Gotcha Day!

Oh I am so excited!  I get to see him one week from today!  The travel agent is working on flights for all of the traveling mamas, I only have myself to pack for...so really all of this nervous energy is just buzzing around with nothing to do! 

We do have one more document to get notarized and apostilled, so I will be making a trip to Austin tomorrow to get that document stamped and sealed.  And I need to work on childcare for next week while Mike works. 

Please be praying that our plane tickets are not a million dollars, that reasonable flights are open (ones that do not involve Moscow would be nice) and that our dear boy's heart will be protected even more during this whole process. 

And I get to see him in one week!!!!!
