28 days. 4 weeks. Oh my! He will be in our arms in 4 weeks. Forever.
We have lots to do.
Travel arrangements, childcare arrangements, petcare arrangements, doctors appointments, dentist appointments, physical therapy evaluation appointments, putting Asa's bed in our room, putting his clothes into the closet, ordering a car seat, installing a car seat, applying for visas for two countries, garage sale fundraiser...
And in our "personal" life, we have to have an estate sale for Mike's mother's things, her house is on the market and Mike is continuing to work to finish up all of her business. Her death certificates arrived last week, so he will spend this week closing her accounts and wrapping things up.
It also just occured to me that we will return home the first week of August and it would probably be prudent for me to get the other three kids ready for school before we travel rather than the last minute in August. Add school supply and clothes shopping to the list.
I have updated the thermometer on the blog. Since we are down to the final push, I wanted to have completely updated numbers and the total now only represents the cost of our final pick up trip. We have been so blessed by family and friends sending us checks in the mail, extra income from Mike's CPR business and my court trip coming in way under budget. I came home with $1500 from that trip that can be applied to our next trip! Yeah for cheap food and hotels, and a driver who let us all four squeeze into his one car. We also passed on having a translator with us each day with the kids, that saved a bit of money also.
Please be in prayer about finding cheap airplane tickets and all of the other details for our last trip. What an amazing thought: our last trip!
