I have been chewing on this for a few days and wanted to share. We attended the Empowered to Connect conference in Dallas last weekend. What a powerful time it was and it has really challenged us in our parenting for ALL of our kids. We strive to honor God in our parenting and to do so by parenting using Biblical principles that would point our children to Christ. At the ETC conference, we were given so many such tools to use that will allow us to honor God AND our children as we lead them through life. We truly feel more empowered in this holy calling!

At the conference one of the adoptive families to present their story was Dan and Terri Coley. They are on the board of directors for Show Hope and are founding members with Steven Curtis and Mary Beth Chapman. We received a grant from Show Hope during our process with Ezra's adoption and it was such an honor to be able to thank the Coleys in person for this grant. How blessed we have been on this adoption journey by so many who have supported us in prayer, word of encouragement, financial sacrifice and acts of service!

We have indeed walked this road with many many friends by our side, each of them placed here by the Lord to guide us, stengthen us, encourage us and pray for us. I do not have enough words to say thank you enough. We are blessed. So very very blessed.
