I just finished unpacking. I know, we've been home for 2.5 weeks. Oh well. I feel like I am at least 2.5 weeks behind on every thing in my life right now, so just now getting unpacked is par for the course.
This is the red suitcase. It is a large suitcase, the largest you are allowed to check on an airplane. And it has been a handy companion these last four years.
It actually does not belong to us. It belongs to my best friend. She loaned it to us four years ago to take to Kyrgyzstan. We kept it for our second trip, which was supposed to be seven weeks after our first trip. Well, that turned into four years and five adoption trips later. An eternity it seems.
The suitcase is now empty. No more does it have an extra razor, spare bandaids, a box of anti diarrheal (just keepin' it real) or empty zip lock bags tucked inside. I even cut off the luggage tags that have our name and address on them.
I will give the suitcase back to my friend (if she still wants it!) because we are finished!
